Mission

To provide employment and additional support services to people with alternative resumes beginning in Madison County, KY. Enrich has established and will maintain a dialogue between families, community organizations, and governmental partners to coordinate and operationalize the most effective outreach methods and programs for the community we serve.

Vision

Enrich’s brick & mortar location will be a “Hub of Hope” in our community, featuring numerous programs to promote and advance the Mission of Enrich. We will support and empower people with “alternative resumes;” referring to people who may be experiencing homelessness, are in active recovery, or have recently been released from incarceration. In our community (and we suspect in countless other communities), we have identified a significant missing cog in the recovery & reintegration wheel that we believe largely contributes to the amount of people we have experiencing homelessness, recidivising, and dying from overdose. That essential piece is establishing and promoting meaningful employment paired with intentional support. Enrich will execute both while encouraging and empowering local employers to do the same.

Enrich will feature an institute-style restaurant employing those with “alternative resumes.” Enrich’s large event space will be used to offer free-to-the-public workshops featuring soulful partners from our community with a vested interest in improving the lives of those we support (financial literacy training, parenting training, expungement assistance, re-entry simulations, interview training, etc.). When not featuring a workshop, the event space will be open for public rental and will be maintained by employees with alternative resumes. Proceeds from the event venue will support the Mission. Enrich’s structured sober living program will include a 6-person on-site live-in program intensely focused on supporting sobriety and community reintegration. Even with all the aforementioned programs, Enrich is currently only using approximately 70% of its physical space with room to upscale internally. Beyond the brick walls, Enrich will continue to promote community resource accessibility in a variety of innovative and effective ways including the development of a “live” mobile application and job opportunity board. Ultimately, Enrich is forging one of the most important quality-of-life improvement programs of our time.

Each part of Enrich’s operation is strategically crafted to one day be replicated in equally deserving communities across the Commonwealth.
